We are seeking an inspirational leader of the Institute, to expand its work across Wales, the UK and internationally, and to increase commercial provision. You will have recent experience of the strategic delivery of higher-level work-based learning in an HE environment, and have significant experience with working with a range of private, public and third sector employers. A PhD/Professional Doctorate is strongly preferred as is a strong publication record in the field of work-based learning. Excellent communication skills are required to deal with a wide range of partners at all levels.

The University is seeking an experienced and well-qualified individual to lead various aspects of the day to day operations of the Wales Institute for Work-based Learning, working closely with the Director of the Institute. You will have substantial, successful, recent experience of the higher level work-based learning curriculum and Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning. You will have a detailed understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing employers and employees in south-west Wales and beyond and the personal skills and abilities to work with partners at all levels.
