Job Vacancy - Skills Partnership Project Manager - Loch Lomond and the Trossachs Community Partnership

In the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, the Community Partnership is exploring new ways of improving the opportunities for employment and learning in key green sectors – tourism, rural skills and local food production. The Community Partnership is a wholly grass-root organisation run by the communities and tackling issues raised by the communities. We are seeking a project manager to take this initiative forward.

The Community Partnership has secured funding from Forth Valley and Lomond LEADER, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park Authority, Forth Valley College and the University of the West of Scotland to take forward the development of a Skills Partnership for the National Park.

The project aims to secure the development of a new training and education initiative for the people who live and work in and around the National Park area, using existing facilities and resources in new ways and bringing in new training and education provision.

The Project Manager will be responsible for driving the Skills Partnership project forward, for securing the commitment of partners and to ensuring consistency in delivery. The Project Manager will be central to the development, implementation and success of the initiative. They will provide the essential link between the communities and other key partners and will have responsibility for shaping the programme of work in conjunction with the Skills Partnership, once established.

More details may be found on the Community Partnership website.
