Who would have imagined Grace Slick being quoted in the introduction to a book on adult learning? Of course she is wrong since she was certainly one to both see and hear when young (and no doubt now). An apt quote might have been from 'White Rabbit':

Remember what the doormouse said – feed your head.

Though perhaps not so that you see caterpillars 10 feet high?
